Bouncing Pod
I bought this Camera Pod about a year ago and overall I really love it. The quality is excellent, it’s lightweight, and it does a great job protecting my camera while keeping it easily accessible on the trail.
My only complaint is the way it attaches to the backpack straps. Since it hangs on your chest, it tends to bounce around constantly while hiking. For me, this gets pretty annoying and uncomfortable, especially on longer hikes or uneven terrain.
I’ve had to figure out my own way to secure the bottom of the pod to keep it stable and prevent it from bouncing. I really wish Hyperlite would come up with some kind of lower attachment or stabilization system. But it would also need to be very easy and quick to attach and detach, since basically every time you stop and take your backpack off, you also need to detach the camera pod.
Hopefully Hyperlite can design a simple solution that keeps the pod stable while hiking but is still quick and easy to put on and take off. That would make a huge difference.
Other than that, it’s a great product and I’m very happy with it. With that small design improvement, it would be pretty much perfect!

Too small for XT-5
Bought based on specs but it's just a hair too small for the Fuji XT-5. Product is well made and super light. Bummed it's not a half an inch bigger (width). Return was easy, just needed to pay for shipping
