An amazing and much needed product.
I have been a professional photographer for 30 years. I have owned a million bags "like" this one. None have impressed me as much as this one. Like all Hyperlite gear it has the features needed and nothing more. It's brilliant.

Camera storage while hiking solved!!
This camera pod is a great way to carry your camera while hiking or backpacking. I love how lightweight it is. it also allows for quick access to your camera at any time.

Great gear addition!
I used to take my mirrorless Nikon z50 on day hikes only to save weight, but really wanted it for my section hikes to give myself an excuse to slow down and enjoy the scenery a bit more. This is my solution. The regular size fits my camera body, 17-50mm lens, and strap with a little room to spare. It won’t hold my zoom lens, but I don’t need it to, I bet the larger size pouch would. For the weight, I feel like the padding is trustworthy enough for hiking without wrecking your kit.
