E3 Elliptical Cross-Trainer

One month old --

And we are quite pleased with our E3. Quiet, smooth, good/wide selection of routine types. The low step up makes this unit perfect for placement in our basement gym along with a stationary bike and rowing machine. Our E3 replaced an equivalent elliptical from another manufacturer so we do have a basis for comparison. One disappointment - Life Fitness does not offer extended warranty coverage.

machine great, but customer service not so much

The cross-trainer is great, exactly what I wanted. No complaints there. HOWEVER, the lifefitness customer service is essentially non-existant. For such an expensive piece of equipment, there should be customer service. Instead one is forced to send emails which are never answered, and there is no way to reach a human. I was unclear which machine would be best for me, and there was no one to discuss the options with, no one to answer any questions. Emails were a waste of time, no response. Unforgivable.

The delivery and set up went smoothly. The machine is great!
