Such a fun experience, and a rad bike to finish it all off
I’ve had the bike for about 2 months and have about 700 miles on it. Overall I’m extremely happy with the ride. I am an avid rider 70-100 miles a week, mixed on and off road rides. My tendency is to ride unique and well built bikes. Previous gravel rides Open WiDe, Salsa cut throat and a Sycip randocross (still in heavy rotation). The open was the bike just prior to this, it was my daily for several years. Fantastic bike, lots of good times… but typical carbon bike stuff. Really stiff, Doesn’t like lots of wet conditions (chips and rubs and frame wear) I got everything out of it, but it only lasted about 6K miles. I plan to have this for much longer. Process - Working with Elijah has been super easy and productive, Elijah and crew are top notch. They were Responsive and collaborative during the build. The Bike was ordered in the fall and arrived on my doorstep just after the new year. I was kept informed along the way and never felt like I was just another dude buying a bike. Experience is a big deal to me and it will be hard to top this one. Elijah helped me put together a build that performs well beyond my expectations. There may have been a few blings added over the build conversation, which I’m very, very happy with. The personal attention and focus on detail from Elijah can’t be stressed enough. Bike - I ordered a size large as it was pretty much already a perfect fit on paper. Coming back to metal from carbon was a positive change for sure. Ti is much smoother on the road and trail. Less chatter, stiff yet more supple in that mysterious way metal works. The frame has super high quality welds and the finish is durable. (lots of winter riding so far) We added some cool tie die/ marble effect logos and water bottles to match the CK purple components. She is a stunner! The ride is all confident endurance. Climbing is efficient, you can feel the stiff rear but it doesn’t beat you up like some bikes. You can toss it around like a mountain bike on the downhill too. No big hits mind you, but lots of rowdy flights over rock gardens and roots. This bike really handles well off-road. On road it is docile and easy to place. I don’t feel on top of this bike at all, it works with you and gives you that “in bike” feel. Not sure a better way to explain. Overall for my riding this is an ideal bike. It is fun, capable, strong and looks amazing. Thank you Elijah and the fine folks of Ritte!!

if i could have only one...
...i'm lucky enough to have a handful of nice bikes but if i had to pick only one (god forbid!) it'd be my ti satyr w/ a set of 650b's for the dirt and 700c's for the road. ps that's my bike in the top pic :)

The Satyr can do anything
I love this bike. After a string of bad luck on carbon gravel bikes, I saw the Satyr Ti and immediately had to try it out. After 2 seasons on this bike I can say the ride is great and confident, it's perfect for any gravel ride big or small. But what really sold me on the Satyr, was a rocky and rough descent during The Last Best Ride in Montana. I made it down a gnarly steep logging road descent that hit almost 50mph and thought "if this bike can handle that, at those speeds, it can do anything."
