Nice Upgrade

I have a Weber Performer grill and the installation of the Venom was quite easy. I will credit videos posted by individuals not associated with Spider Grills, with making this go smoothly. (Not sure why Spider Grills hasn't created an instructional video for the installation of the Venom on a Weber Performer, but oh well.) The location of the damper control and the ash bucket handle is a little awkward, but not really a problem. I have performed two cooks with the Venom. One was approximately a 5-hour cook and the other was around 10 hours. Both went very well. Temps held extremely steady except for issues due to how I had my charcoal briquettes set up. That was my fault and I will attribute it to a learning curve. I would highly recommend the Venom if you want to be able to control cooking temperatures on longer cooks.

The only upgrade to the Weber Kettle I’d recommend! I’ve done a couple cooks with it and it’s never missed a beat! Smooth process! I was actually using a shipping company to get this over to the UK. Spider Grills customer service went above and beyond to help me get everything I need to give to the carrier. 10/10 service and product

The support team is excellent, I emailed several troubleshooting tickets. Each ticket was promptly responded and resolved one by one. Today all my troubleshooting tickets are resolved. Now i have the confidence in cooking a 10lb pork butt for a party of 8. The Spider Venom is truly a set it and forget it solution! Les
