Bixpy Power Pole Adapter

The plastic clamp that holds the motor in reverse was broken. Eco fishing was quick to send me a new one. Second clamp broke shortly after installation, reached out to bixpy and they have done little to make it right. They said that they would send me a new clamp and a few spares just in case another one broke. They sent one clamp and will not return any emails. I have yet to put it in the water because I have no faith in the product. Eco fishing has gone above and beyond to help. My issue is with the product and Bixpy. Highly recommend Eco fishing but not the mount.

Houston, we have a problem.

The power pole adapter works as it should. Installing the motor and removing is fast and simple. The problem that I have experienced is with the lack of rudder response. My Vanhunks Elite Pro does not turn well with the adapter in the fixed position. A tight turn can only be accomplished by engaging the fin drive while the motor is running. Why, I don't know. I recently purchased the fin drive adapter which I plan to test out tomorrow. I believe that if I had used the power pole adapter in the steering configuration that there would not be a problem with turning, but that option would present other problems for me. Perhaps I'll use the power pole adapter on another kayak.
