Can’t wait to get darning some more!

I absolutely love this kit, beautifully presented and well thought out. The videos and online resources for the farming workshop were so well considered with many different format options, each clearly presented and easy to follow. I’ve had a go at darning before but it was quite messy so this really has upped my skills and I’ve already attempted repairing a piece of knitwear that had a hole in. I’m just trying to find some more to darn now!! Repairing your clothes is such a valuable skill that is so sadly being lost, I really hope the shift in people’s attitudes continues and people return to investing in their clothing rather than sewing it as disposable.

Great product with a personal touch

I just recently bought my first pair of Socko socks and I’m totally delighted about them. The socks arrived in completely plastic-free packaging and with a free mini mending kit. Emma added a small hand-written thank you note, which made un-packing a real joy! The socks are of great quality, lightweight and and easy to wear. I also went for the darning workshop gold, which also came in a little plastic-free parcel, lovingly hand-packed and beautifully displayed. I cannot wait to dive into the online course! Great course and a really useful skill to learn

I found this course clear to follow with a nice mix of video and reading. Darning is a really useful skill to know particularly if you are concerned about disposable fashion and sustainability. I definitely recommend this course :)
