Oud in Bourbon

First of all, my order was shipped and arrived very quickly. I had a sample of this, so I knew it would be good, but somehow this is better than my sample. It smells amazing from the moment I spray the perfume, through the mid-notes, to the soft dry down that lasts for hours.

Oud in Bourbon, yes please!

This scent really charmed me. It has a serious smokiness on my skin, and when it gets on fabric it is rich and velvety. (Please be careful on light fabrics.) The Oud is balanced by the other notes so that the whole fragrance is a beautiful dark harmony. The base of vanilla and patchouli are grounding, and there is a subtle sweetness that keeps it from becoming overwhelming. I just love this. I would like to get a full bottle of this eventually, but am happy with my mini for now. The packaging is thoughtful, and the bottle itself is really beautiful. The atomizer sprays well, and the wooden lid and gold writing makes it visually appealing. Great value and quality all around.

Wonderful scent!

Oud In Bourbon has nice bourbon opening from the bourbon barrel the alcohol is aged in I assume. Then it had this beautiful coffee and chocolate accord with some sweetness. The sweetness is subtle however. The coffee is also subtle. I get a nice floral note to brighten up the coffee and chocolate. But, you know what? Let’s just keep this simple. This fragrance smells amazing. It is just that simple.
