A perfect purchase for the Open at Birkdale

Really happy with my choice of extendable flipstick! Bought it for the Open at Birkdale to alleviate a long day on my feet and it was absolutely perfect for the job. Provides a comfortable seat that doesn't take up much space within a crowd, is super easy to put up really quickly, and just as simple to take apart and return to the handy carry bag. Great piece of kit at a fair price

I loved this when I first came two weeks ago perfect for my needs however too tall to sit on for me 5ft 3 so if you are petite this is not for you. It’s lightweight and robust. However now this is the big issue I have had this two weeks and the stick is no longer able to fold I paid extra for this model as I needed it to do this I’m really disappointed I’ve tried WD40 getting someone to help twist and pull but to no luck. I don’t think I’m particularly heavy at 9st so this must be some kind of design fault

The flipstick itself is fantastic, I especially value the fact that it folds away into its own bag. This was a perfect stick to take on holiday, allowing me to perch whenever needed or to function as a walking stick as required. The purchase process was less great, for some reason the item did not arrive next day as I had paid for, this may be an issue with the post office however. It was a number of days and getting a response back from the company was very difficult. In addition, I ordered ferrules for an older stick (not foldable), but ferrules for this stick were included. When I spoke to the company they said they would send the correct ferrules but this has not happened (It has been a week). So a mixed bag really, but the stick is really very good (hence me now having more than one).
