Dark, Rich, and Saturated- Blue/Purple Undertones in North Facing Room
I love this deep brown hue. It’s a unique option and lends a gorgeous depth and drama to a space. It changes wildly throughout the day, depending on quality of sunlight coming in, which I think is neat. It can look slightly purple or navy at certain times of day, which I prefer over it skewing red or greigey. The richness and subtle blue tones in this brown keep it from looking dated or getting into her olde log cabin territory. Highly recommend for anyone on the fence about taking the plunge into such a bold, dark choice. Using it as an accent wall in a small bedroom and it makes the room feel larger, not claustrophobic! For reference, this photo shows it paired with “penthouse” used on the other walls, in the early afternoon in a north facing room that gets indirect natural light, no lamps/artificial lighting on in this photo.

love the color
I love the color, and the no smell so I can paint in the winter.
