Walnut Footrest

The footrest is beautiful. Unfortunately, my 1yr olds legs are long that at the height it needs to be, he just pushes it down and it falls off. Perhaps if the ends were a little longer or a different design, yhis might not happen? The stoppers that it comes with don't work great for this-keeping the footrest at selected height.. so I may have to check Home Depot for an alternative option. Otherwise the footrest itself looks great with the high chair and blends well with my kitchen table and vibe.
