Not my favorite pick, but something different and cool to mess with. I can’t really explain it but it really does sound like other monkey picks I’ve played with. Still fun tho.

Amazing for hybrid picking
I love these for several reasons: 1. They're made by Howling Monkey, which means they're very well made and the tone is amazing. 2. They work really well for hybrid picking. When I slip into that style (and the pick essentially serves the function of a thumbpick), I use the "side tip" (the one on the left in the photograph), which allows me to choke up on the pick. When I want to slide back into "regular" use of the pick, I transition to the long axis. Transition between the two states is effortless because of the rectangular hole, which also provides a solid frame of reference in both states. For me, this is essentially two picks, built into one. I was surprised to read on the website that the unusual shape of this pick was in reference to Antonio's initials. I had assumed that Antonia was a hybrid Bossa Nova player from Brazil who played hybrid style. :-) As always with Howling Monkey, this is a great product which is worth every penny. Much appreciated. p. s. , I have to keep buying these (although they last forever) because, as soon as another guitar player sees one, they're immediately interested and I end up giving it away.
