Really good, but not perfect

I very much like the kit. It's got a really great acoustic-type feel, the module has really amazing sounds, and it looks fantastic. When I first played through headphones, I legitimately thought I was sitting at a real acoustic set. It's *that* convincing. If I had to complain, I'd complain about 2 things: 1. It's loud ;(, especially the hi-hat and rim shots (all of the cymbals, really). I'm experimenting with cloth and foam and such to try and attenuate the kit, but it doesn't pass the late-night-drumming-while-spouse-upstairs test. I also took off the rear head on the bass drum. For stage playing, it looks great, but for me at home in the basement, it just makes things louder. 2. The kick drum riser had to be removed to work with a DW3000 double bass pedal.

I do not regret my purchase.

I purchased the Fnote 5 and was hesitant because spending almost 3 grand isn’t a regular for me. E drum center shipped it and the kit was at my house in 4 days. Pretty incredible they prepared it that quickly and that UPS could deliver that fast. I’m very satisfied with the kit, I haven’t played in almost 8 years and was an acoustic player, the kit was so easy to set up for a beginner in the E kit realm. Sounds incredible and feels so close to the real thing. My only gripes are that the cables for the ride had a rim and cup label but the crash cymbal did not, I had to get creative when trying to get it function. The instrument isn’t as sensitive as I was expecting either and I can’t find a resource online to fix it. Yes, you can lightly tap on the cymbals and drums and you’ll probably get a response but you can feel that even though your lightly tapping you know the module should be triggering sounds. So that’s frustrating but out of the box everything has been incredible.

Edrumcenter was great and love the kit

First time ordering from Edrum center. Great experience. Love this kit. Very easy to get immersed into the exprience and i forget that im not on an acoustic kit. Im in the love with the jazz kit preset. Worth every penny and actually playing shells instead of rubber pads has an authenticity that cannot be overstated. Very pleased all around.
