Its arrived with 2 standard office sized staples piercing the bottom of the shoe. When I reached out to Aldo, they stated that the shoes were not "assessed faulty" and that its standard practice to put staples into the bottom of shoes. If it was the heal of the shoes maybe it might've been acceptable but this is right in the delicate and central region of the shoe. As soon as water comes into contact with the holes, it will create water damage and shorten the life span of the shoes immensely.
