I was worried at first
I sent this to my granddaughter for her 9th birthday. I live in Florida, she lives in California. We had a FaceTime call while she opened the first envelope. She has a very analytical mind and loves solving puzzles so I was hoping she would like it but, after reading the first letter she looked like I had given her homework for her birthday. The weeks went by and she grew more excited as each envelope was opened. After solving the last one, we reviewed the whole story and she asked me “Do they have any other stories?” It made my heart soar and is the best review I can think of! Thank you so much for a fun adventure!

Best ver Gift
I gave this gift to one of my grand daughters for her 7th birthday back in February. She was hooked from the get-go (and SO thrilled that she was going to be 'working for a royal family". She was able to manage decoding almost all the puzzles and solving almost all the riddles. She, I, and her parents found the entire experience brilliant and engaging, instructive and entertaining. I have since ordered the pirate treasure hunt for her cousin, my grandson who will be 8 in mid-May and I have every confidence that he will be engaged throughout. I'll let you know how that goes after his experience is completed.

Fun activity...
My 7 year old granddaughter enjoyed solving the codes with help from her parents as there was a lot of reading. The storyline was engaging, however, the topic at the end veered from the storyline to the topic of global warning which was out of context and a bit strange.
