Excellent counter top RO filter (the real thing)

I've used the Puricom filter for about 3 years now and it's the best tool I have in the kitchen. I remember the days when I went to Costco/supermarket and bought 20+ jugs of water at a time, and spending time hauling and stacking them only to do it again in a couple of weeks. It ended when I bought the Zip water filter. No connections or plumbing changes. You fill it up, and in minutes you got lots of clean water. The water holder is well-designed so we just slide it to the faucet and slide it back into the machine. The annual filter change was probably the most pain part but it got easy once you go over the parts and do it one time. I recently found a block in the flow restrictor as no waste water was returning to the bucket even after filter change. Contacted Puricom and got the part expressed free of charge. I do miss the old days when you got good service from the companies you deal with. It's like that with Puricom. Back to enjoying my water filter. If you are lugging water all the time, get one of these and it's a life changer. I get a good laugh now when I see them doing that at the supermarkets.
