Bette Paper Pattern

Finished product overall pretty good

I would say I’m an intermediate bag maker, and this pattern had easy to follow directions and my finished product looks pretty good for my first time. I’m sure a second time would be much better! The problem I had and why I have 4 stars is the number of times I have to sew the curves, especially with the zipper involved, and the mesh pocket zipper folded over on itself so when top stitching I broke a needle trying to sew over two layers of zipper tape.

Great gift for travel!

I made this for my sister-in-law to hold her makeup and oils when traveling. The pattern was easy to follow and sew. I did modify by adding the fold-over elastic to both sides of the mesh before adding the zipper in the lid. It made putting in the zipper so much easier! The inside lining is a bit loose. I would make it smaller if I made the bag again.
