Bed rail mounts standard? Why?!

The title says it all… why? Metric is the standard in automotive on nearly every manufacturer. Also, in your install instructions, it does not state that these threads are 1/4-20. The guide bolts locations to mount the plates for drilling the rivets holes are metric, why wouldn’t we want to follow through and make the mounting holes for the bed rails metric?

Transit van bed brackets

The brackets fit into the place prescribed perfectly. After looking at what I wanted to do, I decided to modify the front brackets to fit further back so I could make a bed that pulled out. The brackets are well made and made my project easier. I’m glad I bought them.
