Beautiful Take Down Limbs, BUT. . . . these limbs are not of the same dimensions of the original Grayling limbs. I have a BEAR Wood A-Handle made in the '70s and these new limbs were somewhat challenging: (1st) the dimensions at the latch area is about 1/16" ovesize in height and the latches would not close. (2nd) the AMO length (56") does not match a AMO 56" string. Using a standard AMO 56" string, the brace height was 9 3/4". How I resolved the issues: (1st) having a shop, I used a stationary belt sander to accurately remove the "fiberglass" at the bottom of the limbs at the latch region. Just took a couple minutes per limb. They now fit perfectly. The latches can now close with a snugg fit. (2nd) I purchased a custom length string from America's Best Bowstrings and added 3/4" to the length. Brace height is now perfect 8" for a hunting bow.

Lighter Is Better
Needed to reduce weight on my A-handle Take Down; new limbs arrived promptly, fit like a glove and even better deliver silky smooth, silent shooting. Nice work Bear.

Perfection!
I Love the versatility of the Fred Bear take down system and I would be first in line to purchase a set of your green limbs if they were available. In fact, I would buy a new Bubinga "A" handle with matching set of green limbs if you had them. I have two sets of the black limbs and they are stunning.
