Late fall planting
I got these transplanted a litttle late this fall, so I am hoping they survive our cold winters here in northern Minnesota. The plants looked perfect on their arrival.

Mixed results
I had 2 orders totaling 9 quick fire fab and 2 limelight’s. One quick fire received half dying and one with brown leaves. I’ve babied them both and the one died and the other is still hanging in there! But I have to say, the others (the majority) are doing well. But percentage wise, 18% of my orders, have not faired well. 🤷♀️

Small plans but after a year..
I purchased 12 quarter-sized hydrangeas. At first, I was quite disappointed because they were much smaller than I expected. I ordered them in mid-June last year, planted them during the summer, and didn’t see any blooms the first year.
But now, a year later, they’ve finally started to bloom—and they’re beautiful! The flower heads are still opening up, so I think they’ll look even better in a few more weeks. I gave them Holly-tone fertilizer in early spring and have been watering them generously throughout the summer.
They’ll still need a few more years to fully mature, but I’m already very happy with the amount of blooms this year. Definitely worth the wait!
