Deer Hide and Alaska Tan Split

I’ve been purchasing items for making Mitts and Slippers for over 30 years and I must say I was disappointed with my recent purchases The Deer hide has many holes in it and very thin The Black Alaska tan split is very stretchy and hard to keep it in shape to sew it and my fingers turned black from the excess of dye used when dyeing it I haven’t used the other colours that I received yet but it looks to be super stretchy as well I’m returning the Deer hide for a refund I live in NL so it takes awhile to receive my order and when it arrives and I’m not able to use it properly it’s very disappointing Hopefully I won’t get any other items I. first time buying..

I ordered the split deer hide in tan.. I was expecting the colour like in the swatch displayed, or at the very least like in the product display pictures.. But its very very tumeric yellow/orange? Beautiful hide, just not the colour is was going for at all for my project..
