As soon as I was old enough to want to wear a hat, I had the good fortune to get steered to Locks, and I've now been a customer for nearly half a century. With summer making a reluctant appearance in New York City, I've just bought three new ones. I was sorry not to be able to go pick them up in person--the salespeople in the shop are friendly, helpful, and highly knowledgeable--but the order got across the Atlantic quickly, and packed in a magnificent box It gives me keen (if wholly unearned) pleasure to be able to tell my friends that I get my hats from the same source that Admiral Nelson did his. And of course the quality of the goods could not be higher.
