Great bobbin for the bench

I have an older one, I am giving this one as a gift. I am sure it will be as awesome as mine.

Damaged tip

Tough to say. I ordered 2 of them. One is great. The second kept breaking thread. Inspection revealed the ruby tip was recessed into the tube and the tip was marred. Tube end didn't look great either. So in summary I would say decent product when properly made. Quality control seems to be asleep at the wheel.
