Order the largest size of plants to increase best chance of survival & thriving.
Like any plants, the larger and older ones have a higher chance of survival. My tiny venus fly trap seemed too fragile in bare root form. It looks like its dying after 10 days planted in a terrarium. A larger, store- bought venus flytrap in the same terrarium is doing well after 1 ½ months. I’ll try to reorder and buy a larger potted venus fly trap and hope things go better.

big mouth Venus Fly Traps
I bought these traps for my grandson who is fascinated with my collection. I chose the big mouth variety because I thought it would be easier for him watch grow and feed. i can highly recommend buying your carnivorous plants from them.

More like small mouth
I was somewhat surprised to discover that the plant was only slightly larger than a quarter and lacked roots. Upon receiving it after two weeks, I promptly placed it in the soil. Fortunately, it remains green at the moment, but its condition has not improved since my receipt. I am hopeful that it will recover.
