I was so wrapped to find a store that can restring my pounamu. It was done thoroughly professionally. The original string lasted 20 years. If this one lasts as long I'm going to be a happy chappy. It wasn't terribly expensive to replace either. It's so nice to have it back next to my skin. Like having part of my soul reattached.
