These are strawberry flavored sprinkles

These are not strawberry baking bits, they are strawberry flavored flour dyed with red dye # 40 and shaped like little round flat confetti. They are slightly sweet with a strawberry aroma and a hard texture. I haven't tried them in a baked product yet but I was hoping they would be a replacement for the Strawberry Jammy Bits that King Arthur Baking used to sell, they are not. They would work nicely as a sprinkle for cupcakes or cake, or possibly ice cream. I'll add more to this review once I have tried them in a muffin and a cookie. I'm so disappointed! Especially for the cost!
