Quality time with my daughter
I have a flow hive and all the gear to go with it. My 5 year old daughter had expressed interest from the very start of my beekeeping journey so my husband and I decided to surprise her and get her the full suit. Now she is able to join me in all of my inspections and in every step of this experience. I love that it’s organic material and comes with gloves. She feels comfortable and confident to help me scrape burr comb, inspect frames, etc.

Queen Excluder - Flow Hive 2+
Queen Excluders can get messy over time, and mine had a lot of burr comb on it. Because it can be difficult to clean it quickly during a hive inspection, I bought a spare. That way I can take my time cleaning it, and rotate the one that is in my hive.
Note: I gave this item 4 stars, because I tried to clean it by heating it next to a heater, to melt the wax off of it... big mistake! Don't do this! It made this Queen Excluder brittle, and part of the screen broke. But if you don't heat it up, the Queen Excluder should last a long time.
