Angel's Nest

A great tea in a cute form factor

I was a little unsure of what to expect when I first ordered Angel's Nest to try. As soon as I made my first teapot I quickly ordered more so I would always have it on hand. I very rarely give 5 star ratings on anything but Angel's Nest is so enjoyable to drink and has a very nice finish that it quickly earned a spot in my top 5 favorite teas. That is an impressive feat given I have tried literally hundreds. I love the mini tou cha form too. It is a convenient way to carry it and is a great conversation starter for those I introduce to loose leaf tea at the local STEM center. If you like Shou Pu'er, you will like Angel's Nest. If you have never given Pu'er tea a chance, I recommend you try Angel's Nest as an introduction to Shou Pu'er tea.

This is my first time trying an aged ripe pu'er, and this was a pleasant experience. The first few steeps had a nice sweetness that mellow out with additional steeps. Later steeps gain a dryness quality, like red wine. While I'm not experienced with aged pu'er, I'm looking forward to continuing with this tea.

Great tea bought to try and definitely will be buying more
