A New, but Pleased Convert to Team Butt Strap

I resisted the cult of the butt strap for years; my ultralight harness is perfectly comfortable, I told myself. But, with another expedition season looming, I purchased the Amazonia. It takes more time to adjust it properly, given the additional strap, but the comfort while on rope for long periods of time, especially with heavy loads, is worth the minor difference in bulk, setup, and cost.

Great caving harness

Durable. Comfortable on rappels and ascents. Four stars because it is difficult to tighten the waste. To secure it right, you need to put it on, close your maillon, and cinch the waste. Cinching it difficult. Otherwise no complaints.
