Having been a long time user of Swissvax products I found the very high replacement cost of their waxes difficult to stomach so the search started for an alternative. I'd heard of BMD previously and decided to give their Prometheus wax a go. Wax was advertised with a significant reduction in price during their sale. Delivery was swift and painless. My first attempt with the wax left me a little concerned with the wax being very hard and difficult to load onto a foam applicator despite a reasonable ambient temperature. Contact with owner of BMD was reassuring and I was told this product was a hard wax and it was perfectly fine. I found leaving it in the sun softened it up and made application much easier. Removal after applying the whole car was easy and I lovely finish was achieved...I guess I just needed to modify my technique using this product. It's too early to comment on durability and I will be applying another coat (or two) before winter sets in. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend BMD products!
