Checkout these beautiful large bone batik from Africa! They are hand dyed beads from Kenya, Africa. The dying method is known as "batik", which is a wax relief process. The design on these is an interesting "CHEVRON" design, with the pattern going all the way around the bead. These beads are strung on sisal and could even be worn as is. T

Chevron batik bone
These I love however, when I unstrung them, I couldn't figure out why my hands and container I was putting them in, was dusty black. The paint from the wood insert comes off. But I didn't mind wiping them clean with a damp cloth. Otherwise, very happy with them.
