Beef Kidneys

I came from and was raised as a child in the late 50s, through the 60s and to the middle of the 1970s... My mum wasn't a rich woman but she made sure each of us her children had food in our bellies every day. I distinctively remember the steak and kidney pie she made for us. Little did I realise how nutritionally beneficial kidney was when complementing the meat and gravy. So yeah, I am going back to my childhood today, now over half a century later and wanting to give making steak and kidney pie myself.
