The kites were great, however shipping cost was pretty pricey which is why I knocked off a star.

Good. The kites are easy to assemble, fly easily, and somewhat durable. We ended up affixing tails to each one (40) to help them fly better. An upgrade to this kit would include an easily attached tail. When there are 10-15 kids waiting in line for their kite one doesnt want to be fumbling with scotch tape.

Great Birthday Party Activity
We had my son's 5th birthday at a park. It was a nice sunny day. The kids had a ton of fun coloring their kites and getting them airborne! As someone who has never before successfully flown a kite, I found these extremely easy to get up in the air and my son was easily able to handle it - though adults will have to manage the string length, of course! Great affordable craft activity and encourages outdoor play!
