Hooray for Frisee'!
Besides adding body and loft to your salads, frisee' imparts great flavor with a small bit of bitterness to counteract the acidity of tomatoes and salad dressings. And it is highly resistant to bolting! When summer lettuces start to fade out, frisee' continues to grow on strong and compliment romaines and sorrel.
