I got this for my son, who like to help me with the bees. He has a physical disability and smaller hands. And these work great without the grips we have tried. The round rods make it small enough he can grab it one handed and lift them out. They are well built.

Help for older beekeepers

As I get older I find it easier to manipulate frames with this simple grip. It hold securely and doesn't take up much room in my field caddy. Just a tiny bit of insurance that my inspections can go on without dropping a frame.
