Works with JB Weld ClearWeld!

I needed to restore the small circular red safety indicator on a stainless steel pistol, as previous attempts using red enamel paint didn't prove durable with the use of common gun cleaning solvents. I haven't actually completed the required work, but a trial run using this dye with JB Weld ClearWeld epoxy indicates that it will likely work great as long as I use a sufficient amount of dye to achieve the desired degree of solid coloration (i.e. minimal translucency).

Red epoxy dye

I ordered this without knowing how to use it and there were no instructions. I used it but had to trial and error until I had the right ratio to get the color I wanted. Instructions or suggestions would have been helpful as I had a small bottle that did not last very far into my project.
