Great Boots
I love my new Alvies! The fit is great for a new boot. Had to size up a bit from my standard boot size to get the great fit, but very happy. Construction is excellent. Looking forward to years of use.

A pointy-toed cowhide boot that is much more nicely made than is typical
I have always had numerous pairs of boots, and one staple in my wardrobe is always a pair of black, pointy-toed, cowhide boots. Finding good ones is hard because invariably this style is made to sell cheap, often around $200 or some other very low price point. Quality is always iffy, and when the soles are worn, I throw them away.
Not these Comals from Alvie's. These are much better than those others. My Alvie's are well-made and look great. Quality shows. They're a little snug on my foot, so my Comals are larger by 1/2 size than I normally wear, but I couldn't be happier with them.
