Product is great, customer service could be better

I didn't know I needed one, but was gifted my base station with 1 remote sensor, and liked it so much I ordered 2 more sensors, which arrived promptly. I decided to pair my additional sensors and then set the clock to the correct time, and discovered that it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. I made a call to customer service and a helpful representative promptly emailed me instructions. So far, so good, I thought, but then following the instructions carefully didn't work. I called back and got a different customer service person, who could only read from the instructions I already had, which was of no use. I finally gave up on customer service, and by fiddling around with the thing another hour or so more, finally accidentally figured out what the problem was, a typo in the instructions. I marked up my copy and sent them back to customer service to spare other people frustration, and received neither thanks or even a simple acknowledgement. I'm happy with the product, the shipping, and the first customer service rep, but wishing the second customer service rep could have escalated my concern to someone who knew the product well enough to know where the instructions had gone wrong, and provide some actual assistance.
