Water Moisture Sensor

These are great for under the sink or back up in the boiler room. In terms of soil moisture sensing, I was not impressed in the beginning but after I used the calibration function, I could set up each sensor to know what 0% and 100% moisture I defined for the soil. This is very helpful and awesome to know when certain plants need watering.

New moisture sensor

Very good that it is water proof and better protected. Also longer sensor is good idea. The problem is still that it has no possibility to change the battery. One idea to think about in SW area. When water is detected it would be good to setup some time after which it will repeate again the push notification. When small quantities of water are present than often you have a lot of push notification in sequence.

Water sensor for boiler room

I purchased the water sensor and have it set on the floor of the boiler room in case there is a leak in the hydronic heating system. Had a leak before and lucky to have caught it just when it happened but did not want to take a chance on missing it as it would have been costly.
