Okay I’ve been debating a washable rug for years. The price in addition to the mixed reviews made me hesitant. Now being a multi-kid multi-pet household, I can’t keep a traditional rug clean and stain free. I finally bit the bullet and bought this rug with the padded cushion underneath. The very first day my dog vomited right in the center. I am happy to say I cleaned it up and threw it in the washing machine and it was good as new! This is the exact reason I needed a washable rug. I have had no issues with the corners like some other reviews stated. The biggest “problem” which is actually just more of an inconvenience is the rug is thin so if you want to vacuum and you don’t adjust the settings to a lower powered suction it does pull the rug up, it’s an easy fix to follow the instructions and vacuum at a lower setting. I plan to buy another, larger rug as soon as my budget allows.

I really like this rug. I actually bought two, a runner for the kitchen sink and another one for the fridge. I had to buy a 3x5’ for the fridge and cut one end off to make it 2x3’, but that was easy to do and looks fine with the cut end underneath . I chose Tumble because they claim that their rugs wipe clean, and they’re right! I haven’t had to wash them yet, because nothing needs more than a damp paper towel to remove, The rugs feel like ingrain (flat-weave) carpet. The pad underneath is really comfortable- much better than I expected, honestly. The rugs are simple to put together and the whole system works really well. As a note, these rugs look exactly like the photos, yet they seem slightly less colorful than I expected, if that makes any sense. I’m pleased with how they look and feel, and very glad I chose Tumble.
