Trad Bow Muley Review

Purchased this target to help get ready for my first trad bow mule deer hunt. Pros: Excellent target to help with aiming at an actual deer rather than a dot. Handled well over 300 arrows before I replaced the vital zone, and could have probably gone longer, durability wise. Love the realistic size as well. Sure helps with getting ready for the real deal. This target has held up under serious rain with no issues at all. Customer support has been excellent. Cons: The QuivAR app seems to have had some issues at times during my practice sessions. Not registering hits after scanning, having vitals in odd places at times, those sorts of things. Similarly, the vital zone outline on the replaceable portion usually doesn't align with QuivAR. I've just been shooting where I know the vitals are and disregarded the vital zone outline. Price is a little on the high end, but if this thing lasts for a few years, which it is on track to, I can get on board with that.

2D Mule Deer

These are the best and most realistic targets on the market. So much easier to transport than a 3D target. The cores last for an entire season of shooting without having to change them.

Pretty but lacking stopping power

Looks good, thats about it. 40 yards all my arrows blew through the target and ripped vanes off my arrows. Now I have to drive 30 miles to get new vanes put back on. It's a good idea but I think it's going to take alot more thought. Looking for a refund.
