Powerful!
This is a bomber binding. What a joy to finally be able to step into a ski and charge. The BMF/3 is made to turn and it's firm and responsive no matter the conditions. My only issue was getting it onto the plate. Getting the brake to align was not an easy operation. I really hope that Bishop figures out a way to rectify this issue. It's also a little strange after skiing on 22 Designs for so long, to have to tighten the screws every time I ski.

Best binding for teaching and free riding.
I have three pair of BMF/3, mounted on Bishop Gonzo 90, Blizzard Brahma 88 , and Shaggy Fun Cravers 88, skis are 170mm, 174mm, 174mm. Bindings work great on all three skies, best binding for running a ski/Snowboard school, and teaching and yet handle any free skiing I do. I’m on my skis ruffly 5 days a week. I can step in and out of the binding and the students and guests have no clue that I am teaching in Tele boots and bindings. Our students/guests are aged 3.5 years old to 78 years old. I’m in and out of my binding 20 to 30 times a day. Best part is the bindings work great for skiing in Michigan, as far north as Michigan UP Mt Bohemia down to below the Mac bridge at all the lower Michigan resorts Nubs Nub, as well as Mt Holly, plus resorts in Canada, as well as Eastern US resorts in Maine, New York and Vermont. This is one binding that can be used in any snow conditions, you can ski tele or rip Alpine turns styles all day long.

Magic on day 3
This is my first season on NTN gear after 17 years on 75mm. I had skied the last 12 years on 22Designs AXL's and loved them. But my boots were getting worn out and I reluctantly made the switch. So I got a set of BMF/3 and the new Scarpa TX Pros. First two days out and feeling like I was learning to tele all over again and extremely frustrated. My brain kept saying "I want to rip" but I just couldn't flex the binding or the boot. I did get the soft spring as I only weigh 145 and have always liked a soft flexing bellows on my boots too. I also have the spring tension as soft as it goes. Day 3 and everything clicked! I felt like I was skiing on my old AXL's again. I have to believe that (surprisingly) the bellows and springs softened up enough for me to really make nice and strong telemark turns like I am used to. I have skied these now for around 25 days and I have to say that I love them! The step in and release is super easy and really changes everything for me. I am 58 years old and an aggressive telemark skier who plans to keep freeheeling as long as I can and I hope that this new gear will extend my time out there.
