Mokume-Gane Titanium

Since this ring isn't made with typical metalsmithing techniques of other mokume-gane titanium rings available, the direction and appearance of the grain is necessarily very different. It's the difference of shaping a wooden board into a circle vs. boring two circular holes through a "tree cookie". Reviews that are surprised by this are comparing apples to oranges.

The others are right: the rings do not look as-pictured. They are different and, I think, better in-person. Instead of the coppery-indigo striations pictured, our rings are cobalt-midnight blues. I understand the disappointment for those who were surprised by a color swap that they didn't happen to prefer as we do. The coloring on both my and my husband's rings are consistent with each other: we are pleased.

The pattern is not as refined as the picture, there are cheaper ones other there that looks the same. I'm not happy with this ring.
