I love the B17 so i was slightly concerned that this wouldnt even be close, being rubber and grippy, but i wanted something for bikepacking that can get wet and no upkeep. I am pleasantly surprised how much i like this saddle. It is grippy but like the perfect amount, you can still move around on the saddle (which i prefer) and while its not as comfy as the B17 IMHO it is still very comfortable for me. Its great!
