Love the halco split ring pliers

I broke my texas split ring pliers right where the handle meets the jaws decided to invest in these. Videos are spot on about halco split ring pliers and easily changed out hooks on my squarebills. The rounded area of the jaws helps to spin the split ring. So far i havent been poked by treble hooks because these pliers control the rings well. The size fits my hands snug and the spring gives positive opening

These were not the most expensive split ring pliers available, but they were relatively expensive for what they were. That being said, I think they are worth it. They work MUCH better than the other split pliers in my possession. Now, I admit this is my first pair of "high quality" split ring pliers, so I cannot say they are the "best." But I can say I am very happy with them and I would recommend them to anyone looking for some that work well. Also, they truly do work well on all split rings from very small to quite large.
