Spinning Pre-Built Rod

Spent last week fishing smallmouth in Canada from dawn til dusk. Used 3 MAGS spinning rods (7'2" MLF, 7'0" MMod, and 6'10" MLXF). All three handled 4# smallies easily, and it was a blast. I was concerned the MLs might not have enough backbone, but that was never an issue. I especially like the comfort of the reel seat and grip on the pre-built handles. The rods are obviously light and sensitive, and I really like the guides used. Absolutely no complaints. Hope to use these rods, and maybe another one or two, for years to come.

Quickly becoming my favorite rod! The action and flex are perfect for casting light jigs and crawlers. Can't wait to throw hair on it next spring. I think it should be perfect for that too.

This is my third purchase from Mags. My Mags rods have made fishing for Walleye in Canada a much more pleasurable experience with their sensitive feel and great construction.
