Inspired by Cary Grant, it is sweeter than expected. My interest was because of the base notes: Myrrh, Vanilla Absolute, Oak Moss, Ambergris, Labdanum and Gray Musk. After wearing it for an hour, I wasn’t getting those notes. More the middle notes - leaning towards dark. But not the dark I wanted. Upper Class is exactly that. A gentleman going to a black tie event would be well advised to wear this fragrance. But it’s not stuffy, not strictly formal.
