Great Light, becoming a standard

I've used this light countless times over the past year or so. Usually have 2-3 on a set. Great investment for owner/operators.

Great for price but could still be improved

Pros: Light output is outstanding for the price. Quality of light is nice. Very good build quality. Usefulness: More than enough power for anything inside, direct, bounce, through diffusion, etc. With the fresnel, great to shoot through a window for daylight effects. Outdoors, its on the edge of being powerful enough. If you're going direct through a fresnel it'll compete with sunlight in a medium shot. But that's gunna make harsh shadows... through diffusion, it is almost bright enough, but you may need 2 of them to get the job done like an HMI would. Cons: the head unit fan gets picked up by my mics when the light is in the same room as talent. It isn't loud... but it isn't silent. My Litepanels Astras have fans and I can't hear them when they are running but this I can. And I'd like to be able to move the 'ballast' unit further away from the light head but the cable is too short and when I contacted support about buying a longer cable it took them 2 months to get back to me with and answer, which was, 'no'.
