So far it’s better than the black metal buckle. The finish on the painted metal ones was horrible.

POLY Buckle for Travel
I love this POLY Buckle because there is no need to remove it going through TSA at airport. I just purchased my third because they do keep breaking at the same point after a couple years. I wish Mission would reinforce these buckles at the breaking point . . . the plastic loop eye that acts as hinge for teeth clamp for belt itself.
