Cool and crisp but not very durable

Began using these sheets in Dec, 2021. Wash/dry them weekly. Started developing holes in the fitted sheet after about six months and now, at eight months, need replacing. I'm repurchasing because true percale are impossible to find, and the price is acceptable. These are cool, crisp and lightweight - perfect for my Gulf Coast climate. Those who complain about scratchiness don't know what percale is supposed to feel like. Jus sayin....
