130 Button-Down Shirt

Really nice shirt

I've been wearing W&P t-shirts and boxers for a while and I really like the way the wool material feels and looks so much better than cotton. We have a business casual dress code at the office so I decided to give one of these wool dress shirts a try. I'm very happy with the way the shirt looks and feels. It's slightly heavier than the regular dress shirts but not overly so. I've worn it outdoors on a rooftop bar in 85 degree weather and was comfortable. The shirt resist wrinkles much better than a cotton shirt - I've never had to iron it, only hung it in the bathroom during a shower to let the steam gently remove any minor wrinkles that were there. I have not yet had to wash the shirt, so that will be the real test. Hopefully, if I stick with the delicate cycle, cold water, hang dry like I do with my other W&P shirts it will work well. I usually wear a 15 1/2" or 16" neck and 34 length sleeve. I got the size M in the regular fit (not slim) even though I'm fairly slim (just with some muscle) and the fit is good for me. (I've had a short sleeved W&P button shirt before that I mistakenly bought in slim fit, and unfortunately it's too tight across the chest).

Amazing shirt that always looks good

I had one of these shirts in black as part of a black travel ensemble that I accented with a red patterned tie. I love wearing it because it always felt so comfortable. I have worn it in nearly every climate and it always keeps me cool/warm as needed. Plus, it always keeps its "freshly ironed" look. So, when it was time to develop an alternative travel outfit, this time with khaki slacks and blue blazer, I wanted the same comfort and good look but this time in blue. I am thrilled with how it completely fulfills my checklist: quality, comfort, look, adaptability.
